Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Protein NUMB homolog is an evolutionarily conserved protein that regulates differentiation of neuronal progenitor cells.
It functions in clathrin-dependent endocytosis by binding to the AP-2 complex and is expressed in postmitotic neurons, contributing to axonal growth.
Neural cells expressing Numb isoforms with short phosphotyrosine-binding (SPTB) domain show extensive neurite outgrowth, which can be inhibited by voltage-gated Ca²⁺ channel blockers or Ca²⁺ chelators.
