Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological roles. Many kallikreins are associated with carcinogenesis and may serve as biomarkers for cancer and other diseases.
The KLK8 gene is one of fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located on chromosome 19. The encoded protein may participate in proteolytic cascades in the skin and act as a biomarker for ovarian cancer.
Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
