Target Information
Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) is a protein tyrosine kinase involved in interferon-α/β and -γ signal transduction pathways. Upon immunological stimulation, JAK1 recruits Stat transcription factors to cytokine receptor complexes, phosphorylates them, and activates transcriptional regulation. Tyrosine phosphorylation at residues 1022 and 1023 is critical for catalytic activation.
