Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They are composed of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, and ensuring consistency through recombinant production.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low abundance targets. Each lot can be reproduced with identical composition, eliminating biological variability seen in traditional polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information

Synaptobrevins, syntaxins, and the synaptosomal-associated protein SNAP25 form a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of synaptic vesicles with the presynaptic membrane.
The protein encoded by the VAMP1 gene is a member of the vesicle-associated membrane protein (VAMP)/synaptobrevin family. Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal dominant spastic ataxia 1. Multiple alternative splice variants have been described, though the full-length nature of some variants remains undefined.
