Product Specific Information

The 93 monoclonal antibody reacts with an epitope shared by mouse CD16 and CD32.
CD16 (Fc gamma III Receptor) and CD32 (Fc gamma II Receptor) are low-affinity receptors for the mouse IgG Fc portion and are expressed by B cells, monocytes/macrophages, NK cells, and neutrophils.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤1.0 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Recommended to titrate antibody for optimal performance.

NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes such as propidium iodide, 7-AAD, and DAPI.
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for best results.

This conjugate ships with CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01), which provides improved formulation for optimal staining.
Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails/master mixes prior to combining with cells.
For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology with engineered fluorescent signatures designed to minimize spillover and spread.

Target Information

CD16 is a 50–65 kDa cell surface molecule found in two forms:

• Transmembrane form (NK cells, some T cells)
• Phosphatidylinositol-linked form (granulocytes)

It acts as a low-affinity receptor for IgG (FcR III) and mediates ADCC by NK cells.

CD32 is a 40 kDa glycoprotein functioning as a low-affinity receptor for IgG (Fc gamma RII).
It mediates endocytosis, secretion activation, cytotoxicity, and immunomodulation.
Expressed by B cells, monocytes, granulocytes, and platelets.
Variants of CD32 gene may increase susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
