Product Specific Information
The M5/114.15.2 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse MHC class II (I-A and I-E) glycoproteins. It detects polymorphic determinants on B cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated T lymphocytes from specific mouse haplotypes (H-2 b, d, q, p, r, u).
- Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Validated on stimulated mouse splenocytes at ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
- Recommended Use: Carefully titrate for optimal assay performance.
- Excitation: 405 nm; Emission: 780 nm; Laser: Violet.
Super Bright 780 Dye Information:
- Tandem dye excited by violet laser (405 nm), emits at 780 nm.
- Use 780/60 bandpass filter for optimal detection.
- Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation — protect from light.
- Store samples in IC Fixation Buffer or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution up to 3 days at 4°C in dark.
- Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
- Compensation values may vary depending on bead type; recommended to set compensation using cells.

MHC class II molecules are transmembrane glycoproteins on antigen-presenting cells (macrophages, dendritic cells, B cells). They bind exogenous antigens and present them to T cells.
