Product Specific Information
Description:
The 10.1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD64 (FcγRI), a 75 kDa type I transmembrane protein. CD64 serves as a high-affinity receptor for IgG and participates in antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), phagocytosis, and cytokine regulation. It is expressed on monocytes and macrophages but not on mature granulocytes or lymphocytes.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometry using normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage ≤1 µg per test (in 100 µL final volume). Optimal concentration should be empirically determined depending on assay type and cell number (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information
CD64 (FCGR1A) encodes a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor involved in immune response modulation. It is one of three related genes on chromosome 1. CD64 dysfunction has been associated with cervical adenitis and tetrasomy 21.
