Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is the alpha subunit of the heterodimeric receptor for colony stimulating factor 2 (GM-CSF), a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes and macrophages.
This gene is located in the pseudoautosomal region (PAR) of the X and Y chromosomes. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, including both membrane-bound and soluble forms.
