Target Information
Importin 9는 핵 단백질 수송에 관여하는 핵 수송 수용체로, cargo 단백질의 핵 내 이동을 매개합니다.
Nuclear Localization Signal (NLS)을 인식하여 nucleoporin과 결합하고, Ran 의존적 메커니즘을 통해 핵공복합체(NPC)를 통과합니다.
핵 내에서 Ran이 importin에 결합하면 복합체가 해리되고, importin은 GTP 가수분해를 통해 세포질로 재수출됩니다.
H2B histone, RPS7, RPL18A 등의 핵 내 수송을 매개하며, 이들의 세포질 내 응집을 방지합니다. 또한 H2A, H3, H4, RPL4, RPL6의 수입에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
