This HB3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD371, also known as Clec12A or Myeloid Inhibitory C-type Lectin-like receptor (MICL).
CD371 is a highly glycosylated transmembrane receptor with a cytoplasmic ITIM that associates with SHP1 and SHP2.
It is mainly expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells (including plasmacytoid dendritic cells). Expression on NK cells remains controversial.
Although the precise function of CD371 is not fully understood, studies suggest involvement in inflammation and LPS activation.
