Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
PDC encodes a phosphoprotein located in the outer and inner segments of rod cells in the retina. This protein may regulate visual phototransduction or photoreceptor metabolism by interacting with the beta and gamma subunits of retinal G-protein transducin. PDC is a potential candidate gene for retinitis pigmentosa and Usher syndrome type II. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
