Product Specific Information
Reconstitute in 50 µL of sterile water.
Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
After reconstitution, keep aliquots at -20°C for higher stability, and at 4°C with an appropriate antibacterial agent.
Glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability.
Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the neurotrophin family, which controls survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons.
It is closely related to nerve growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor.
This protein may be involved in maintenance of the adult nervous system and neuronal development in embryos, being expressed in human placenta.
NTF3-deficient mice show severe movement defects of the limbs.
The mature peptide is identical in all mammals examined, including human, pig, rat, and mouse.
