- Positive Control: Hypoxic lysates, HepG2 (1% O₂ treatment for 24 hr using Urea buffer), Myc-DDK human HIF2A-transfected 293T.
- Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial.
Target Information
HIF-2 alpha (Epas1) is a transcription factor involved in the induction of genes regulated by oxygen.
It contains a basic-helix-loop-helix domain and a dimerization domain, participating in signal transduction pathways responsive to oxygen levels.
HIF-2 alpha regulates VEGF expression and is implicated in blood vessel and lung tubular system development.
Mutations in this gene are associated with erythrocytosis familial type 4.
