For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

SATB1 (DNA-binding protein SATB1) is a key silencing factor involved in X inactivation mediated by Xist RNA during embryogenesis and in lymphoma. It binds to AT-rich DNA sequences and nuclear matrix-associated regions, recognizing the sugar-phosphate backbone of double-stranded DNA.
SATB1 functions as a transcriptional repressor regulating nuclear and viral gene expression depending on its phosphorylation and acetylation state. It plays a role in T-cell maturation and chromatin-loop remodeling.
SATB1 also influences HIV-1 integration and gene repression, with HIV-1 Tat protein capable of counteracting SATB1-mediated repression in T-cells.
