Transactivation domain을 포함하는 isoform은 pro-apoptotic 역할을 하며, 해당 도메인이 없는 isoform은 anti-apoptotic 작용을 하여 p53 및 transactivating p73 isoform의 기능을 억제할 수 있습니다.
