Product Specific Information
- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45565 detects GIT1 in 10 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 90 kDa.
- Does not cross-react with GIT2.
- This antibody was formerly sold as clone S39B-8.
Target Information
GIT1 is a GTPase-activating protein for the ADP ribosylation factor family. It may function as a scaffold to assemble signaling modules controlling vesicle trafficking, adhesion, and cytoskeletal organization. It enhances cell migration and protrusion formation, possibly by targeting PAK1 to adhesions and the leading edge of lamellipodia.
