Endothelial cell-specific molecule 1 (ESM1)은 인간에서 ESM1 유전자에 의해 암호화되는 단백질로, 주로 폐와 신장의 혈관내피세포에서 발현됩니다.
이 유전자는 cytokine에 의해 조절되며, 내피세포 의존성 병리적 장애에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
Transcript에는 다중 polyadenylation 및 mRNA 불안정성 신호가 포함되어 있으며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화하는 두 가지 변이형이 보고되었습니다.
