- In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Complement Factor D is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Complement Factor B and Complement Factor I is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Complement Factor D is a serine protease involved in the alternative pathway of complement activation.
It is a single-chain polypeptide (~25 kDa) that cleaves Factor B bound to C3b, generating the alternative pathway C3 convertase (C3bBb) and releasing the Ba fragment.
