Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
AMOT (Angiomotin) belongs to the motin family of angiostatin-binding proteins characterized by conserved coiled-coil domains and C-terminal PDZ binding motifs.
AMOT plays a key role in tight junction maintenance through complexes with ARHGAP17, regulating polarity protein uptake.
It is mainly expressed in endothelial cells of capillaries and larger vessels of the placenta, mediating angiostatin’s inhibitory effect on tube formation and endothelial migration during new blood vessel formation.
