Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SETD7 is a histone methyltransferase that specifically monomethylates Lys-4 of histone H3, a marker for epigenetic transcriptional activation.
It plays a key role in activating genes such as collagenase and insulin, recruited by IPF1/PDX-1 to the insulin promoter.
SETD7 also methylates non-histone proteins, including p53/TP53 and TAF10, enhancing their stability and transcriptional activity.
