Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
YBX1 binds to splice sites in pre-mRNA and regulates splice site selection. It stabilizes cytoplasmic mRNA and modulates translation by influencing interactions between mRNA and eukaryotic initiation factors. This protein binds to promoters containing a Y-box (5'-CTGATTGGCCAA-3'), such as HLA class II genes, and regulates transcription of numerous genes. It promotes separation of DNA strands with mismatches or cisplatin modifications, exhibits endonucleolytic activity, and may play a role in DNA repair.
