For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD30 (Ki-1, TNF Receptor Superfamily Member 8) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the TNF receptor superfamily.
Originally identified as a surface antigen of Hodgkin’s and Reed-Sternberg cells, CD30 binds CD30L (CD153) to mediate effects such as proliferation, activation, differentiation, and apoptosis.
It plays a key role in Hodgkin’s disease and CD30+ lymphomas, acts as a costimulatory molecule in thymic negative selection, and is expressed on activated T and B cells.
Soluble CD30 (sCD30) serves as a marker for Th2 immune response.
TRAF2 and TRAF5 interact with this receptor to activate NF-κB signaling.
CD30 regulates apoptosis and limits autoreactive CD8 effector T cell proliferation, contributing to immune homeostasis.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms are known.
CD30 expression is observed in Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Reed-Sternberg cells, ALCL, and embryonal carcinomas.
