Target Information
Complement Factor D는 보체 활성화의 대체 경로(alternative pathway)에 관여하는 세린 프로테아제입니다.
이 단백질은 약 25 kDa의 단일 사슬 폴리펩타이드로, C3b에 결합된 Factor B를 절단하여 C3 convertase(C3bBb)를 생성하고 Ba fragment를 방출합니다.
