Target Information
Complement Factor D is a serine protease involved in the alternative pathway of complement activation.
It is a single-chain polypeptide (~25 kDa) that cleaves Factor B bound to C3b, generating the C3 convertase (C3bBb) and releasing the Ba fragment.
