Product Specific Information

The KJ1-26 anti-idiotypic monoclonal antibody binds the T-cell receptor (TCR) expressed on DO11.10 and DO11.10.24 murine T cell hybridomas, but not on other T cell hybridomas tested. The TCR expressed on DO11.10 recognizes an ovalbumin peptide in the context of I-A^d MHC molecules.
DO11.10 and KJ1-26 have been instrumental in describing many details of T cell immunity.

• Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of DO.11 cells. Recommended ≤0.125 µg/test (in 100 µL final volume).
• Cell Range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test (empirically determined).
• Optimization: Antibody should be titrated for best performance.

Target Information

TCR DO11 (DO11.10) is a receptor on lymphocytes of DO11.10 transgenic mice and T-cell receptors of BALB/c-derived DO11.10 and DO11.10.24 hybridomas.
This receptor recognizes an ovalbumin peptide (OVA 323–339) in the context of I-A^d MHC molecules.
Antibodies against DO11.10 have been key in elucidating T cell activation, development, and function.
