Product Specific Information

  • In direct ELISAs, approximately 40% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse PRDC/Gremlin-2, 10% with recombinant human Gremlin, and <5% with rmDan, rhCerberus-1, and recombinant chicken Caronte.
  • Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
  • Endotoxin level <0.10 EU per µg antibody (LAL method).

Target Information

Gremlin belongs to a novel gene family acting as BMP antagonists in embryonic explants. The human homolog of Drm/Gremlin (CKTFS1B1) is localized on chromosome 15q13–q15. DRM-specific mRNA is expressed in various tissues including brain, ovary, intestine, and colon. Down-regulation of DRM may be associated with tumor progression, suggesting its role in neuroembryological development and carcinogenesis.
