Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
After antigen retrieval, incubate samples with the primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is small intestine or tonsil tissue.

Target Information

CCR7 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, specifically within the chemokine subfamily. It is induced by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and mediates EBV effects on B lymphocytes.
CCR7 is expressed in blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes, and intestine, particularly in lymphoid tissues and activated B and T lymphocytes.
It regulates migration of memory T cells to inflamed tissues and promotes dendritic cell maturation.
Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19/ECL) is a specific ligand for CCR7.
Receptors for the C-C chemokine family include CCR1, CCR2A, CCR3, CCR4, CCR5, and the Duffy blood group antigen, all of which play roles in T cell chemotaxis and phagocytic cell migration to inflammation sites.
