Suggested positive control: HL-60 whole cell lysate, antigen standard for TNFSF13B (transient overexpression lysate), mouse spleen protein, mouse testis protein, mouse thymus or spleen.
Target Information
BAFF (B cell activating factor) is a membrane-bound cytokine expressed by B cell lineage cells. The soluble form binds to receptors TNFRSF13B/TACI, TNFRSF17/BCMA, and TNFRSF13C/BAFFR. It acts as a potent B cell activator, promoting proliferation and differentiation. BAFF is also expressed by T lymphocytes, contributing to T cell activation and survival. Isoforms representing alternatively spliced and glycosylated variants have been identified.
