For reconstitution, it is recommended to add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The MDM2 protein is the primary regulator of p53 protein stability. MDMX (also known as MDM4) is an MDM2-related protein that inhibits MDM2-mediated degradation of p53 through distinct associations with MDM2.
The MDMX gene is amplified in malignant gliomas. ARF interacts with MDMX to sequester it within the nucleolus, increasing p53 transactivation.
MDMX expression can reverse MDM2-targeted degradation of p53 while maintaining suppression of p53 transactivation.
Like MDM2, MDMX also binds p73 and stabilizes its level, increasing the half-life of p73.
