이 항체는 Human Histone H3.2와 반응합니다. BLAST 분석 결과 Human, Mouse, C. elegans와 교차 반응이 확인되었으며, Rat, Chicken, Xenopus, Drosophila, Plant 등에서도 100% 서열 상동성에 기반해 반응이 예측됩니다. 다른 종의 Histone H3와의 교차 반응은 확인되지 않았습니다.
Target Information
Histones는 진핵세포 염색체 섬유의 핵심 구조인 뉴클레오솜을 구성하는 기본 단백질입니다. 약 146 bp의 DNA가 H2A, H2B, H3, H4 네 가지 핵심 히스톤 단백질로 이루어진 옥타머 주위를 감싸며, H1 히스톤은 뉴클레오솜 간 DNA를 연결하여 고차 구조의 크로마틴을 형성합니다.
이 유전자는 인트론이 없는 히스톤 H3 패밀리 구성원으로, polyA 꼬리 대신 팔린드롬 종결 요소를 포함합니다. 염색체 1의 히스톤 클러스터 내에 존재하며, 복제된 네 개의 히스톤 유전자 중 말단 복제본을 나타냅니다.
