Product Specific Information
The AER-37 monoclonal antibody reacts with the Fc epsilon RI alpha subunit, an IgE-binding subunit lacking signal-transducing ability. FcεRIα is expressed on mast and basophil cells and is upregulated by the presence of IgE. The FcεRI complex plays an important role in triggering IgE-mediated allergic reactions.
Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometry using normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.5 µg)/test.
Brilliant Violet™ 786 (BV786) emits at 786 nm, designed for use with violet (405 nm) laser-equipped cytometers. Ensure instrument compatibility before use.
Buffer Recommendations:
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, employ Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54) at 4°C in the dark. BV786 is not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information
FceR1 (FcεRIα) is a subunit of the high-affinity receptor for IgE. It forms a tetrameric complex with one α, one β, and two γ subunits. The FcεRI complex triggers allergic responses through IgE receptor activation, leading to release of histamine and other mediators responsible for allergy symptoms such as hay fever and asthma.
