Product Specific Information
The eBio299Arm monoclonal antibody is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
This antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis and tested on mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells.
It should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
Alexa Fluor 660 emits at 690 nm and is intended for use on spectral cytometers where it may be multiplexed with APC, Alexa Fluor 647, and Alexa Fluor 700.

Target Information
Isotype control antibodies serve as negative controls to differentiate non-specific background signal from specific antibody signal.
They help identify background staining caused by Fc receptor binding, non-specific interactions, or cell autofluorescence.
These controls are mainly used in flow cytometry but are also applicable in ChIP, immunohistochemistry, and gel shift assays.
Isotype controls should match the species and isotype of the primary antibody and, if directly labeled, use the same conjugate for accurate comparison.
