Target Information
IDO1는 세포 내 헴(heme)을 포함한 효소로, 트립토판, 세로토닌, 멜라토닌 등의 인돌 고리를 산화적으로 절단하여 키뉴레닌(kynurenine) 대사산물을 생성합니다.
이 효소는 다양한 조직, 대식세포, 수지상세포(DCs)에 널리 발현되며, 염증 반응 시 인터페론(IFN)에 의해 유도됩니다.
IDO1의 트립토판 분해 작용은 바이러스, 세균, 기생충의 성장을 억제하며, 감염, 임신, 자가면역, 이식, 종양 등 다양한 면역 조절 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
