For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

TCF12, also known as HTF4, is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) E-protein family that recognizes the consensus binding site (E-box) CANNTG.
It is expressed in various tissues including skeletal muscle, thymus, and lymphocytes, and plays a role in regulating lineage-specific gene expression via heterodimer formation with other bHLH E-proteins.
In combination with E2A, TCF12 is essential for blocking thymocyte proliferation prior to pre-TCR expression and is critical for proper T cell differentiation.
Recent studies indicate TCF12 is also required for the development of invariant natural killer T cells.
