Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
Macrophage receptor that binds to apolipoprotein B48 (APOB) of dietary triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (TRL) or similar domains of APOB in hypertriglyceridemic very low-density lipoprotein (HTG-VLDL).
Functions in internalization of TRL and may contribute to lipid supply for reticuloendothelial cells and foam cell formation under elevated TRL and remnant lipoprotein (RLP) conditions.
Mediates rapid high-affinity uptake of chylomicrons (CM), HTG-VLDL, and trypsinized VLDL devoid of APOE in vitro in macrophages.
