Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine TNF-alpha. Anti-Murine TNF-alpha-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.
Sandwich ELISA:
For detection of Murine TNF-alpha, use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL antibody solution (100 µL/well). In combination with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine TNF-alpha (500-P64G) as capture antibody, detects ≥0.2–0.4 ng/well Recombinant Murine TNF-alpha.
Western Blot:
Use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL for detection of Murine TNF-alpha. When used with compatible secondary reagents, detection limit is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information
TNF alpha is a multifunctional proinflammatory cytokine belonging to the TNF superfamily. It is mainly secreted by macrophages and binds to receptors TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 and TNFRSF1B/TNFBR.
Functions include:
- Regulation of immune cells, cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, lipid metabolism, and coagulation
- Exists as multimeric noncovalent units (17 kDa monomer under SDS-PAGE)
- Involved in immune responses to bacterial, viral, parasitic, and fungal infections
- Plays a role in tumor necrosis and neuroprotection
- Implicated in autoimmune diseases, insulin resistance, and cancer
