Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.2% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) TREM-1 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
TREM1 (Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells 1) is a receptor of the Ig superfamily that amplifies neutrophil and monocyte-mediated inflammatory responses triggered by bacterial and fungal infections. It stimulates release of pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines and increases surface expression of activation markers. TREM1 and related proteins such as TREM2 modulate inflammatory responses and have been linked to inflammatory bowel disease, enhancing production of TNF, IL-6, IL-8, and MCP-1.
