Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

E-Cadherin (epithelial cadherin)은 칼슘 의존적 세포 간 접착 단백질로, cadherin 슈퍼패밀리에 속합니다. 이 단백질은 5개의 세포외 cadherin 반복 영역, 막관통 영역, 그리고 보존된 세포질 꼬리로 구성되어 있습니다.
CDH1 유전자는 인간 염색체 16번에 위치하며, 이 단백질의 기능 상실은 위암, 유방암, 대장암, 갑상선암, 난소암 등 다양한 암의 진행과 관련이 있습니다.
E-Cadherin은 세포의 성장과 발달, 조직 구조 유지, 세포 간 접착 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 발현 감소 또는 소실은 종양의 침윤 및 전이 가능성과 양의 상관관계를 보입니다.
