Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Rat GRO-beta/MIP-2 (CXCL2). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using an immobilized Rat GRO-beta/MIP-2 (CXCL2) matrix.
Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Rat GRO-beta/MIP-2 (CXCL2) by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When paired with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Rat GRO-beta/MIP-2 (CXCL2) (500-P75Bt), it enables detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant protein.
Western Blot:
For detection of Rat GRO-beta/MIP-2 by Western blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. Detection limit is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions when used with compatible secondary reagents.
Target Information
CXCL2 is produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and is expressed at sites of inflammation. It functions as a hematoregulatory chemokine that suppresses hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation in vitro. The GRO-beta(5–73) form shows enhanced hematopoietic activity.
