Product Specific Information
The IP26 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human alpha beta TCR dimer, expressed by the majority of peripheral T cells.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test
- Cell Range: 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test
Super Bright 780 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 780 nm. Use a 780/60 bandpass filter and ensure instrument compatibility.
When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to reduce non-specific interactions.
Compensation Notes:
Higher compensation values may occur in the violet 450/50 channel when using UltraComp eBeads ([Product # 01-2222-42]) or AbC Total Antibody Compensation Beads ([Product # A10497]). In such cases, set compensation using cells.
Light Sensitivity:
Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation:
Samples can be fixed using IC Fixation Buffer ([Product # 00-8222]) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution ([Product # 00-5333]) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information
The T cell antigen receptor (TCR) consists of a ligand-specific alpha/beta heterodimer associated with CD3 subunits (γ, δ, ε, ζ). These are essential for efficient surface expression and signal transduction.
TCR activation induces T cell differentiation, proliferation, and cytokine production. Most peripheral T cells express TCR α/β, while TCR γ/δ T cells are found mainly in epithelial tissues.
Defects in TCR expression can impair immune response and are associated with autoimmune diseases and tumors. Autoantibodies against TCR segments have been linked to rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
