- Reconstitute in 500 µL of sterile water.
- Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
- Antigen is homologous in rat, mouse, and monkey.
- Specificity: Cofilin-1; recognizes both phosphorylated and unphosphorylated forms.
Target Information
Cofilin binds to F-actin and exhibits pH-sensitive F-actin depolymerizing activity. Regulates actin cytoskeleton dynamics, essential for mitosis and cytokinesis. Plays a role in cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization. Required for up-regulation of atypical chemokine receptor ACKR2 from endosomal compartment to cell membrane, enhancing chemokine uptake and degradation. Also involved in neural tube morphogenesis and neural crest cell migration.
