Target Information

FBXL11 is a member of the F-box protein family characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box.
The F-box proteins form one of the four subunits of the ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs (SKP1-cullin-F-box).
They are divided into three classes:

1. Fbws – containing WD-40 domains
2. Fbls – containing leucine-rich repeats
3. Fbxs – containing other protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs

FBXL11 belongs to the Fbls class and, in addition to an F-box, contains at least six highly degenerated leucine-rich repeats.
