Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex I) is a multiprotein complex located in the inner mitochondrial membrane. It plays a crucial role in energy metabolism by transporting electrons from NADH to ubiquinone, coupled with proton translocation. Human complex I consists of 41 subunits, with subunits 1–7 encoded by mitochondrial genes and others by nuclear genes. NADH dehydrogenase subunit 4L (ND4L) is likely part of the hydrophobic fragment of Complex I. Mutations in ND4 are associated with Leber hereditary optic neuropathy, leading to central vision loss.
