Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
GNPAT is a key enzyme located in the peroxisomal membrane, essential for ether phospholipid synthesis.
Mutations in GNPAT are associated with rhizomelic chondrodysplasia punctata type 2, characterized by rhizomelic shortening of femur and humerus, vertebral abnormalities, cataract, cutaneous lesions, and severe mental retardation.
