Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes differ in tissue distribution and substrate specificity.
The SULT1A3 gene encodes a phenol sulfotransferase with thermolabile enzyme activity and is located on the p arm of chromosome 16. It arose from a segmental duplication with SULT1A4 and overlaps with a gene encoding a GIY-YIG domain-containing protein (GIYD1). Multiple alternatively spliced variants encoding the same protein have been described.
