Product Specific Information

This KTYFLF monoclonal antibody reacts with human CXCL1 and shows no cross-reactivity to CXCL2 or CXCL3.
CXCL1 (GRO alpha) is a pro-inflammatory CXC chemokine associated with neutrophil mobilization, vascular permeability, and angiogenesis. It signals through the CXCR2 receptor, shared with GRO beta and gamma.

CXCL1 is secreted by monocytes, epithelial cells, and fibroblasts in response to LPS, IL-1β, and TNFα, and is overexpressed in many malignant tumors, contributing to tumor vascularization and metastasis.

Applications Reported:

• Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:

• Pre-titrated and validated for intracellular staining of peripheral blood monocytes.
• Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (in 100 µL final volume).
• Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Target Information

CXCL1, CXCL2, and CXCL3 (GRO alpha, beta, gamma) are CXC chemokines that bind IL-8 receptor type B.
They are potent neutrophil attractants and activators. Processed forms GRO-alpha(4-73), GRO-alpha(5-73), and GRO-alpha(6-73) exhibit ~30-fold higher chemotactic activity.
