Product Specific Information

The GIGD7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT, VSTM3, WUCAM), a 26 kDa protein of the poliovirus receptor (PVR) family.
In mice, TIGIT is expressed on follicular T helper cells; in humans, on NK cells, regulatory T cells, follicular T helper cells, memory CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells, but not on B cells or naïve CD4⁺ T cells. TIGIT expression increases upon activation.

TIGIT interacts with PVR family members (e.g., CD155), mediating NK and T cell interactions with antigen-presenting cells, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells expressing PVR-like proteins.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Mouse splenocytes; ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimize titration for best performance.

Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information

Binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR), increasing IL10 secretion and decreasing IL12B secretion, thereby suppressing T cell activation via induction of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells.
