Target Information
Fas ligand (TNFSF6)와 FAS antigen (TNFRSF6)의 상호작용은 여러 기관계에서 프로그램된 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 매개합니다. 이 유전자에 의해 인코딩된 단백질은 FAS antigen에 결합하여 apoptosis를 유도하거나 FAS antigen을 통해 시작된 apoptosis를 강화할 수 있습니다. 단백질에 의한 apoptosis의 개시는 FAS-binding domain이 아닌 ubiquitin-like domain을 필요로 합니다.
