Target Information
Tyrosinase는 멜라닌 합성 과정에서 tyrosine을 melanin으로 전환하는 첫 두 단계와 이후 단계를 촉매하는 효소입니다. Tyrosine hydroxylase 및 dopa oxidase 활성을 가지며, 기능 수행에 구리가 필요합니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 oculocutaneous albinism을 유발하며, 비병리적 다형성은 피부 색소 변이에 영향을 줍니다. 인간 게놈에는 이 유전자의 3’ 절반과 유사한 pseudogene이 존재합니다.
