This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The CD166 (ALCAM) gene encodes activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule, a member of the immunoglobulin receptor subfamily with five immunoglobulin-like domains (VVC2C2C2) in the extracellular region. It binds to T-cell differentiation antigen CD6 and plays roles in cell adhesion and migration. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
